At the beginning of every year, they look forward to hosting an event to energize their team members for the exciting times ahead. This year, they took a page out of our playbook here at Interactive Entertainment Group. We were honored to elevate the Yale Hospitality event with a selection of our interactive experiences: Carnival Booths, Giant Pac-Man, and Mini Golf.
Remember the time when the simplest joys came from popping balloons and winning stuffed animals? Carnival Booths took Yale’s event to a new level by giving team members the chance to relive those memories. The booths served as not just a center of enjoyment but also a hub for team-building exercises, enabling Yale’s staff to combine leisure with rapport-building. Whether throwing hoops or knocking down pins, the booths were tailored to suit the crowd’s enthusiasm and energy.
Pac-Man was never just a game; it was a phenomenon that transcended generations. We took that excitement to Yale by bringing in our Giant Pac-Man Battle setup. The employees were transported back in time but also felt the surge of modern-day competition. Team members rallied behind their “Pac-Men,” cheering them on as they battled to win.
This wasn’t just gaming—it was a metaphor for the Yale Hospitality team’s efforts throughout the year. Just like in Pac-Man, they must navigate through various challenges while pursuing excellence, and sometimes, gobbling up some metaphorical “ghosts” along the way.
In an atmosphere buzzing with laughter and challenge, our Mini Golf setup was the crown jewel. Offering an inviting yet competitive atmosphere, each hole of the mini-golf course became an avenue for collaboration and strategic discussion. Team members took turns sinking their putts, high-fiving each other, and sometimes groaning at a missed shot. But every stroke was an exercise in camaraderie and a boost in team spirit.
