Thousands of university students and faculty made their way to Louisville for this week’s NACA Live conference, an event designed to showcase the best in campus activities. For our second year exhibiting at the campus marketplace, we decided to showcase our offerings through a playful, scientific lens. Through this theme, we wanted to convey the power of using creativity and experimentation to create memorable and inspiring campus events.
After connecting with a member of our team, attendees had the opportunity to play our roll-a-beaker game, putting a scientific twist on a classic carnival game. Featuring colored beakers as score markers, spelling out “CREATE” with the periodic elements, the game prompted players to roll their balls at a series of scoring holes in their lane. Each time a ball was scored, the player’s corresponding beaker made its way further toward the finish line. Winners were rewarded with colored slime!
Next, attendees lined up at our prize crane for the chance to grab our $250 grand prize, disguised among a slew of white boxes. And while only one attendee took the $250 back to campus, hundreds of students walked away with dunkin gift cards, outer space-themed squishmallows and of course, slime.
