A team is only as strong as its fans. This football season, The University of Notre Dame and its sponsor, Credit Union 1, are creating a fan experience like no other. From social media activations to sports simulators, keep reading for a glimpse into the Fighting Irish’s exclusive tailgate experience.
CU1 is harnessing the power of social media to with our Instagram-inspired photo experience, featuring a custom exterior in the sponsor’s signature blue branding. After fans pose for the booth in front of a branded step-and-repeat, guests are given the option to post their photos straight to Instagram using the football team’s #GoIrish tagline. Fans are also given photo prints, specially designed to match their Instagram feed, to take home.
In addition to the photo-op, fans also can receive free swag from our social media powered vending machine. After tweeting using the team’s custom hashtag, promotional swag is dispensed automatically from the machine. The vending machine features a fully branded exterior and giveaways include a variety of the university’s apparel options.
Thanks to our realistic sports simulator, Fighting Irish fans can now experience the game from the player’s perspective. Featuring real footballs and custom Fighting Irish graphics, fans will feel like part of the team as they are transported onto the field.
With a field goal challenge and football toss in one, our giant inflatable is a football lover’s dream! The experience features custom CU1 graphics, so fans know who to thank for the experience.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the athletic teams that represent the University of Notre Dame. The school colors are Gold and Blue and the mascot is the Leprechaun. It was founded on November 23, 1887 with football in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Credit Union 1, an Illinois-based financial institution that drives family and community success, will provide exclusive services and better banking for all the Irish through the new Fighting Irish Program.
