At Black Hat USA 2026, the conversation moves quickly. The cybersecurity conference brought the global security community to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas for six days of trainings, briefings, demonstrations and an expansive Business Hall filled with some of the industry’s biggest names. For Netskope, that meant putting its approach to modern security and networking in front of an audience that knows the space well, and giving them a reason to spend a little more time at the booth.

That is where the game came in. Working with Interactive Entertainment Group, Netskope incorporated a fully branded Reflex Battle into its Black Hat booth, turning speed, focus and competition into a natural extension of its presence on the show floor. The message across the front summed it up in four words: Fast Hands. Faster Security.

A Brand Built Around Moving Fast

Netskope works at the intersection of security, networking, data and AI. Its Netskope One platform brings together SASE, AI security and data security capabilities designed to help organizations protect users, applications and data across cloud, web, SaaS and private applications. Thousands of organizations, including more than 30 of the Fortune 100, use Netskope technology to manage risk while maintaining visibility and performance.

At Black Hat, Netskope was already giving attendees plenty to explore. Its booth featured live Netskope One demonstrations, conversations with experts and theater sessions covering topics including AI security, data protection, cyber resilience and SASE.

The challenge was not a lack of information. It was creating another way into the conversation.

Turning a Security Message Into Something You Can Play

Reflex Battle is a head-to-head reaction challenge built around speed, accuracy and focus. Illuminated targets activate across each player’s side, and competitors race to hit them as quickly as possible before the round ends. Short gameplay and an immediately understandable objective make it particularly well suited for busy trade show floors where interactions need to be easy to enter without becoming easy to overlook.

For Netskope, the experience was customized so it looked like part of the booth from the start.

The entire unit was wrapped in a blue and green gradient, with the Netskope logo prominently displayed on both sides. Across the front, FAST HANDS. FASTER SECURITY. gave the competition a direct connection to the brand’s world.

That line did a lot of work. It took the mechanics of the experience and put them into language that made sense at a cybersecurity conference. Fast reaction became fast security. Competition became the entry point.

Designed for the Black Hat Floor

Black Hat is built for an audience that comes ready to dig into complex topics. The 2026 program included technical trainings, research briefings, summits and a Business Hall dedicated to cybersecurity technologies, tools and solutions.

That makes the environment valuable, but crowded.

An interactive element can create a different rhythm inside a booth. Someone walking past can understand Reflex Battle almost instantly. Two people step up. Targets light up. A competition starts. Other attendees can watch from the aisle. Then the interaction naturally creates an opening for the booth team to continue the conversation.

For a company presenting sophisticated security technology, that change of pace matters. Not every first interaction needs to start with a product demo or technical discussion. Sometimes the better introduction is simply getting someone to stop.

Giving a Technical Brand a More Human Touchpoint

Netskope came to Black Hat to talk about the future of security, networking, AI and data protection. Reflex Battle gave attendees another way to enter that conversation.

It was quick. Competitive. Highly visible. More importantly, it was unmistakably Netskope.

Netskope is a modern security and networking company helping organizations protect data, users and applications across cloud, web, AI and private environments. Its Netskope One platform brings security and networking together to give businesses greater visibility and control wherever work happens.

Black Hat USA is one of the cybersecurity industry’s leading events, bringing security professionals, researchers and technology companies together for technical trainings, briefings and an expansive Business Hall. The 2026 event took place August 1–6 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
