The International Beauty Show (IBS) in New York is one of the most anticipated events in the beauty industry. It brings together professionals from around the world to showcase the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair, makeup, skincare, and nails.
One of the main highlights of the IBS is the exhibition hall, where attendees have the opportunity to see and test the latest innovations in the industry. Standing out among a sea of 500 vendors, Farouk Systems Inc., blew away attendees with its LG CHI Color Master Factory, a digital color lab that is propelling the transformation of the salon industry. Using AI technology, the beauty brand allows hairdressers to formulate over 30,000 hair color combinations at the touch of a button. The system even features a simulation mode that allows clients to try on the color before committing with before and after images.
With a product based on providing stylists with endless color combinations, the Farouk Systems knew it needed a creative booth concept to match. Upon reaching their booth, attendees were promoted to channel their inner artist with our graffiti-inspired photo activation. After snapping a photo, attendees grabbed realistic graffiti cans to decorate their photo with sprayed light on an interactive wall, choosing from a variety of colors, stencils, animations and stickers. Once attendees finalized their creation, they had the option to receive instant prints and share via social media, text or email.
