Stepping Into the Story: VR Santa’s Sleigh Ride
Instead of watching the season unfold from the sidelines, guests were invited to take part through VR Santa’s Sleigh Ride, produced by us at Interactive Entertainment Group. Participants slipped on a headset and were instantly transported into a virtual sleigh ride, gliding over rooftops and snowy scenery from Santa’s point of view.
It was immersive without being overwhelming, and intuitive enough that all ages felt comfortable jumping in.
Santa Brought Backup: Mechanical Reindeer
Alongside the sleigh ride, our Mechanical Reindeer made an appearance — adding a physical, laugh-out-loud moment to balance the immersive one. Familiar, playful, and impossible to ignore, it gave guests something to cheer on, jump into, and circle back for.
A Thoughtful Layer
The pairing worked naturally. While VR Santa’s Sleigh Ride pulled guests into the story, the Mechanical Reindeer kept the energy moving on the event floor. Two different experiences, same goal — keeping people engaged without overcomplicating the moment.
